If I get a next generation HDD DVD Video recorder with the
Gemstar GuidePlus on it, will it work through NTL Analouge cable.

The RDXS34 will be using the official Freeview EPG not Guideplus (which is run by an third party company and relies on advertising).

Does the Freeview EPG work over an ariel of does it only work though a digital setup.

It will work over an aerial on any machine that is Freeview compatible (i.e. the RDXS34) - provided that your in a Freeview capable area of course!
