Best Telewest Box?

Hi,

Im trying to pursuade Telewest to replace my Pace STB as it isnt compatible with either my Tosh XS32 or one for all remotes etc. Im basically saying I'll move to Sky as I can use the Tosh better with it so hoping that they will give in. What is the best box to get if they give me a choice, anyone have any links to what STB's are available and there features. What boxes are compatible/incompatible with the Tosh?

Thanks

Steve

Might be worth waiting a while for them to launch their DTR/PVR STB which looks impressive to say the least.

Tomo,

I got the new Scientific Atlanta box a few months ago after a fault with the memory in my Pace box and it's called EXPLORER 4000DVB. Funilly enouhg I was going to post a question mysefl if anyone else has this box and what they think. It's difficult for me to be sure as I changed my TV over Xmas and had a new set for 15 days (sent back with fault for refund) and now I am looking much more carefully at the picture I am geting on my original old Sony set than I have for years. I feel it is more digital looking and pixelated than it was but as I have now tuned my eyes in to look for this (trying very hard to decide if 100Hz sets just show how crappy the Telewest signal is or if they really do over process and digitise PQ and smear backgrounds on fast moving objects).

Would be very interested to hear of others opinions on both best box question and the compatibility of Telewest with 100Hz sets for football etc???
