PW6/NTL/etc

Hi,

New Panasonic PW6 plasma w/Scart board (awaiting Component board TY42-TM6Y, discovered on ebay..)
New Pioneer DV-575a dvd player
NTL Digital (Pace) STB
Yamaha RX-V620 AV amp
PS2
Goodmans 6yr-old Nicam vid

NTL hooked up via Scart, and not impressed with picture. Should I get the JS RGB-VGA converter instead? If so I'll take the Scart thing back to RS, I was in too much of a hurry to get the PW6 running..

How to get sound out of NTL? Hooked up a PS2 scart cable (from the 2nd NTL scart socket) that splits into phonos for audio & sent that to the amp with no result..

Hoping the Component card will help when it arrives but how to connect all this?

Thanks in advance..

JS RGB>VGA has 2 phono outputs ~(L+R) for getting sound out of the scart cable mate...and should help PQ (will need to keep scart if you plan to use a VCR...

Thanks hd, do I need the RGB/VGA adapter or will the component card help the poor NTL picture issue?

Is the vid the only thing I need the scart for? Don't really use it much..

What about connecting the rest of the set-up?
