Any feedback on Homechoice?

I considering getting replacing my Sky+ with Homechoice and was wondering if anyone had any experience of it. It works out a whole lot cheaper than Sky+ and separate broadband, but I don't know if I could do survive without the record facility.

Also, does anyone know if the Homechoice box has a digital audio out? Their sales operator didn't... (though he was super helpful).

Also I just read that the picture quality is worse than other services. Is this true?
