End of recording missing

Anyone else getting this problem - have set it to record 10 mins extra and they are still missing at least 5 mins from the end of the programes - getting really annoying - one of our family members is having the same problem at their house...

Its a very common problem actually, have read lots ot threads here saying the same as you, I dont record often so cannot comment really, can you not add quite a bit more than 10 minutes to make sure, if its a really important program you are recording, when I did used to to record in times gone by I always added at least 30 minutes to allow for overuns of programs.....

I have my padding set to zero as this can cause recording clashes due to overlaps.

the V+ records for the time of the programme as displayed on the epg. It will not compensate for overruns, delays, extra time, etc. If I think this may happen e.g. footie going to extra time I just set the V+ to record the programme after as well.
