V+ wont connect to on demand

I wondered of anyone can help me before i have to call for an engineer.

When i try to connect to TV on demand i get a back box in the corner with the message "Just a moment" - it then gets stuck like this, i can't press any buttons etc, i have to reset the box. Its an Old SA.

I also have a sammy SD box in the bedroom and on demand works no probs.

I think i may have caused the problem, i was tidying up all the wires behind my tv unit so i unplugged everything, moved it about and plugged everything back in.

I've checked all the cabling - its all in tight etc, reset the box numerous times, unplugged the power and white cable, left it for a few minutes and plugged it back in but still cant seem to get anywhere

Sounds to me that you have done everything you possibly can,so its time to call in the big guns and let them sort it

Have to admit its a bit suspicious since it only happened since you moved everything, but these things do happen,I presume you could get the on demand previously ?

I might be tempted to swap the boxes around perhaps that would prove all connections are ok,then swap them back again afterwards ....

thanks, giving them a swap might be a good idea. I'm not sure if it happened after i moved everything as i don't tend to use it that much.

I would have thought that if i had done something wrong it would have affected the live tv, recordings, epg etc but they are all working perfectly

I'll let you know how i get on

I've had this loads of times.
Totally random and booting doesn't sort it.
Very rarely happens with the HD box but often does with the SD box.
I just figured it's gremlins at work at VMs end, but maybe not.
