Install on friday help please

Hi all
Okay so i am having an install this friday and after searching wondered if i could get a few points cleared up with you.
I have had cable in previously years ago and have a terminated end black cable in the attic space from the old install from which a white cable then ran back downstairs to the tv box.
Now this is in a 1st floor flat with me being the upstairs so the attic floor is my ceilings, now i am having extra boxes put in the bedrooms so will the installer go into the attic and drop the cables down pre drilled holes (attic is all floored as being converted to another room).
point 2 re the modem\router will i get a length of cat cable (like a self install) to connect to my pc as i would like the modem also in the attic or what will happen here?
Thanks
Robert

Not quite sure what you are asking as cannot relate to your circumstances.

However:

The cable that carries BB carries TV and vice versa so the split can come anywhere down the line.

Best thing to do is to wait and see what the installer thinks, though I have found they are open to suggestions, but will usually do whats the easiest for them obviously ....as for the modem thats a separate installation really, mention it to him and see what he says, some are friendly (mostly) but the odd ones are not very sociable, first impressions usually tell you which you have, usually they do help if you ask them ....
