I was watching the National Geographic HD channel round at my g/fs and noticed that the amp was displaying both Dolby Digital and Dolby PL II. Anyone any ides why both would have been displayed on the amp?

The audio being broadcast was probably DolbyDigital 2.0. This is the same as stereo, but DD encoded. PLII still processes 2 channel DD audio to give pseudo 5.1 or extracts matrixed 5.1 from DD Lt/Rt audio.

Basically, it is normal behaviour and nothing to worry about. The amp is just doing what it is supposed to do
