dns problems

when i use virgin media's dns server google wont work at all and when i try and ping it ,it says connection timed out so i tried using open dns and google decided to work but google imaged or google video wil not work and when i ping them they come back connection timed out but all these websites work on my other computers that are connected through the same wireless network can some one help please

Don't use their DNS servers then. Try OpenDNS 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222

Are you changing DNS settings on the router or on the PC?

i have tried changing both to open dns and google works but google images or google video jus keep timing out and i cant ping them

just plugged my laptop into the router and everything seems to work fine when its wired just nt wireless
