I hope this is the right forum for this.

I'm looking for a device that will convert an RCA and/or SCART input (preferably more) to VGA out or HDMI out.

Is there such a thing?

Basically, I'm wanting to run my old games consoles through a VGA monitor but it would be handy if it had HDMI output too. I suppose the ideal device would be something that converted any input format (RCA/SCART/Component maybe) to VGA and/or HDMI.

I've got about £100 to spend.

I'd aim for a 2nd hand vp20 if you can find one, budget may be too low though

Hey, simply, you just need a scart2hdmi converter. it won't cost you so much. Just go ebay and there are a lot. if you don't know what to select, tell me and i will give you more advise.... good luck
