AV to YPbPr

Hello, I have a 32 inch lcd tv that has a malfunction with the av and rf input processing board. So far as I can tell the only inputs that work on it are the YPbPr the DVI and the HDMI. Does anyone know if there is a way to splice an AV cable to YPbPr or a converter box for AV or RF to DVI/HDMI.

How much are you willing to spend?

Composite & S-Video to COMPONENT Video Converter for example. I haven't personally used one of these, can't vouch for the quality

Re: AV to YPbPr

Have you got a DVD recorder with an RGB input and a HDMI? If not, picking one up, even secondhand might solve your problem. I use my Sony HXD870 to convert RGB scart from my old Pace Twin into HDMI for ease of connections and the result is quite acceptable on my 40", less so on my projector. Older models that don't have HDMI will still have component output so this 'trick' should work, though I can only confirm the RGB scart to HDMI with mine.
