coaxial help

I am not sure that this is the right area but i need some help.

I just purchase a outside antenna for local channels. when I received it I found out that the cable line is a 5C-2V coaxial cable that runs the motor box for turning the antenna from inside the house.

Ok so the 5C-2V is coaxial from across sea's. So I am trying to figure out if the Rg6 cable in my house is the same or will do the same thing as the other cable.

Any help will be greatly appreciated....

Thanks
Robin

Re: coaxial help

It looks to me as if the RF attenuation of RG6 is better than 5C-2V, so you should be fine.
