Hi. I have a problem with my recently bought Component to VGA transcoder (High Box). Tvia TrueView 5725.

Here's an explanation of my problem:

Black font or thin black lines on a red background displays with some kind of distortions. Like halos or ghosts or something like that... It is especially noticeable on any font with size 20 and smaller. When I remove a Pr cord distortions disappear. When I zoom the image (and letters become more thick) distortions almost disappear (but not completely).

Transcoder is hooked up to my PS3 console with gold plated component cable (not 1st party). I tried another one (also gold plated) and the problem did not disappear. I tried changing VGA cable too.

Any help appreciated.

Actually black letters display like this on any kind of high saturated colors (e.g. Dark Blue, Orange, Pink, Dark Green)...
