Hello!

does anyone know of a component->vga converter that can output a 50hz vga signal if it detects a 50hz input?
What I am really looking is a device that can take the 576i/50hz signal from my ps2/xbox1/gamecube (all are PAL) and can output a 50hz vga signal (and not a 60hz) so that there is vsync and motion is smooth as it should be.
I have a vbox hd-360 right now , but it does not care of the input HZ, it only outputs 60hz , and makes motion jerky for those 50hz games...

Most scalers can do this, you should be able to get a 2nd hand iscan or something.

This would do the trick too, for less cash. I wouldn't pay more than about 100 for one of these, personally. In spite of the listing title, they don't do HD but should do VGA@50Hz I think.

edit: yes, this datasheet from Anchor Bay Anchor Bay » Support » Documentation » Data Sheets says analog (VGA) output can be done on the iScan Ultra with 576line signals @ 31.25kHz line rate (625 total lines including overscan * 1/31250th of a second for each line = 1/50th of a second for a complete frame)
