External Processing for Panasonic TC-P50V10

Hello,
I understand that the PQ of the TC-P50V10 is great at HD but is really poor at SD.

Is there any form of external processing that can be purchased to go around this issue? I have over 400 dvds that are SD. (NTSC)

Thanks,

Jim

I understand the "EDGE" may be the way to go... can someone please clue this "clueless" person in...

This stuff is all new to me.

Thanks

Yeah the edge is good for that.

I understand that the EDGE is "good for that"... but they are a bit pricy. Are they the only good game in town? Is there a place where different units are compared and contrasted?

Thanks,
Jim

It's just about the cheapest option worth considering. Its big brothers (which are arguably only any better if you have some pretty specialist requirements) and the Lumagen processors, which are the main competitor but don't do a cut-down model like the edge, start at about 3 times the price.
