Thumbs down Problem with DVDO VP30. Any help is appreciated!

Hello everyone

I had my DVDO VP30 for over 2 years now and it's been perfect. Two days ago, all the sudden, it stopped working. Instead, it is going through the start-up cycle when it displays DVDO and Anchor Bay's logos over and over again. The LED indicator is blinking red.
I've tried to do a reset by disconnecting power and plugging it back while holding Menu and Exit buttons (as per the manual) but it didn't help.
I though of updating the software but I can not switch the unit into the "communication" mode.
Somehow I need to break this infinite start-up loop.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
