converting from ntsc divx to pal divx

Hi there, not sure if this is the correct forum so mod's please move if it is not. I have a few downloaded divx files that were recorded in america and are obviously in ntsc format. These play fine in my pioneer dvd recorder except when it is recording simultaneously as it is unable to playback anything in a different line system to what it is recording. Does anyone know of any software that can convert from ntsc to pal in the divx format in one step. I really want to avoid having to re recode to mpeg etc and then convert back to divx again using my divx converter.

Cheers

Alan
