Sky HD bypass via iscan HD to PHW6

Hello everyone

I just got Sky HD and trying to use DVI input on iscan HD to pass HD channels to my Panny PHW6. But I failed to get picture on my plasma. iscan info shows the infomation of my sky HD feeding and processing 576i channel(blue light on) and bypass the HD(green light on) but on picture on tv.
I changed using component input, all working and I got HD pictures on my Panny. Any thing wrong with my setting?
Please help.

Re: Sky HD bypass via iscan HD to PHW6

The iSCan HD DVI is not HDCP compliant, and even if you are using the HDCP compliant DVI card for the PW6 it does not understand 720p50 and 1080i50. On two counts you won't be getting a picture!!!

Using component out from the Sky HD sorts your HDCP woes out, and also lets you run the HD to the plasma at 720p50 or XGA50 via analogue.

Thanks very much. I got it and I have to use the component input. Yes, HD is fantastic! Just what to try whether it can be improved by digital input.

Would need a new plasma to use a digital input.
