I think my Lumagen power supply is goosed :(

Hi there all

I have just purchased a 2nd had Lumagen VisionPro off the forums but unfortunatley it seems to have an intermittant problem

After its been on for 20 minutes or so, the display on the unit starts to flicker
(display set to permantly on) and the power light on the power supply flickers, the unit looses sync with my projector (a 3 tube barco), then comes back on after a few seconds, it only did this once every few hrs when i got but now seems to be once every 5 minutes.

Has anyone come accross this problem before, the Lumagen is a huge improvement over my previous Quadscan, and im not bothered about throwing a few quid at it.

Or does anyone know if 'potentially' the power supply is at fault and if yes how much a replacement could be or is it worse news and could it be the unit

Thanks for reading and best regards

James

99% it'll be the power supply. You could pick up any old after market powersupply from Maplins as long as it is the correct voltage and current

Or if you want you can email me your contact details and I can sort out a new one at cost.

Gordon
