scaler/deinterlacer to run sdi sky plus

hi guys new area to me,read on satellite forum about sdi sky and saw that it needs a scaler to get it to work i think (told you this is new to me) but seen on classifieds deinterlacers and wondering whats the difference and what do i need for my soon to be pwd8 panel,laymans terms please .cheers

You need a Sky+ box which has been modified to add a SDI video output socket like this.

And a video processor/scaler with a SDI video input socket.

e.g. DVDO, Lumagen, PMS

If you use a Home Theater PC you can add a SDI video input socket to that instead.

Total around £550 -> £4500.
