What decent Component buffers are there?

I could really do with 3 component outputs from my skyHD. JS technology's component buffer would give me 2, but does anyone know of a decent buffer with 3 outputs?
Or could I daisy chain 2 of JS tech's (I called them and asked, but they had never tried)?

Thanks

Hello Triggaaar

Gefen have a New product that should suit your requirements - its a 1.3 YUV + Stereo/Digital audio Distribution amp with a UK price just under 150.00 GBP; see http://www.gefen.com/kvm/product.jsp?prod_id=3565

Best regards

Joe

Thanks Joe.
I saw that Keene and Lektropaks both have them too, but I have no idea of the quality. Keene have a couple availalble 4:1 for £140 & 5:1 for £100 (go figure)
The Lektropak 3:1 model is the same physical box in your link (external). I don't know if they'd have different internals, or if the whole thing would have come from the same supplier.
Lektorapks 3:1

Does anyone have good or bad experience of any of these?

Thanks

Hello Triggaaar

Keep in mind its a 1.x your after not an x.1 - that's a switcher.

The box you link too looks very like the Gefen - I'll find out a bit more about it.

Best regards

Joe

Thanks Joe, that's jolly decent of you.

Do you know that the Gefen is good? If the Lektro is the same, it would be handy, at £99 and posted from the uk.

Hello Triggaaar

I believe they do share a common platform and come from the same OEM - apart from trying them out 'side by side' I cant say as yet if they have identical performance.

Both units are so new that a side by side hasn't happened as yet.

Best regards

Joe

Thanks Joe

Have you any idea if anyone's planning a comparison?

If nothing is on the horizon, maybe I should just buy the lektropacks and hope for the best. I'm surprised no one on the forum has tried many component buffers.

I'm about to buy one too - was probably going to go for the Keene 1:5 as I could make use of the extra outputs.
