First post so be gentle!
Anyone any experience of this TV as a used model? I am tossing up () between this and a 32' Sony Wega (CRT).

I'm aware of a standby problem remedied by removing the text card, anyone own either of these?

There is a number of Sony Wegas. I have one and it's not wonderful. You need the actual model to get some info.

The problem I would see with an 18 is age: how old is it? No tube lasts forever.
