I have a toshiba 36zp38b tv and it will not turn on with the remote or on the TV itself.

The panel lock maybe on and but I cannot unlock because the TV does not turn on at all, so therefore cannot press the buttons on the tv to turn it on either.

Does anyone know how to turn the panel lock off while the tv is off?

Have you considered the possibility that the TV may have a fault and that is why it won't turn on?
