phillips TV ir light on front panel flashing

ronancoll Guest Posts: n/a	phillips TV ir light on front panel flashing Advertisement Want to Advertise? I was just watching TV and the telly switched off and the ir light on the front panel was flashing 4 times pausing and flashing 4 times again and again. The remote does no function and then eventually the TV comes on again but eventually switches its self off!! Is this some kind of protection curcuit, is my TV faulty??
