Sony KE-42MR1 - problem with black line running down Plasma TV screen

Can anyone help me?

My Sony KE-42MR1 has develeped a rather annoying 1 inch thick vertical black line running down the screen about 6 inches in from the right hand side!!

Is another rather expensive trip to my Sony approved repair man required?

I have only just replaced the power unit, which cost me £700!!

Did you ever solve this problem and if so how?

I have had the TV for 6 years and it developed the black line last weekend.

Can you help me?
