Unhappy Problems with Loewe 32" CRT screen

I have just taken delivery of my Loewe 32" Mimo TV, after living with a buzzing Sony for nearly a year.

Wow, no buzz

BUT, I have noticed a very feint line about 2cm wide running down the side of the screen, about a fifth of the way in from the right hand side. It has an almost herringbone effect. I have looked for this both on satellite and regular channels and it is still apparent.

Please don't tell me that I need to exchange the set!

Help please!

Could be Moire. Do a serach on "loewe Moire" and read the thread to see if it it sounds familiar.

yeah, it does seem familiar, thanks Groundy. I think an email to Loewe is in order here.

I have found the problem. I went to settings ->AV settings ->allow switching voltage and selected Yes, and the moire effect disappeared. So, thats good. However, I noticed that all channels are now sky and not terrestrial and sky as was before. Have I done something wrong? I noticed that the satellite channel is channel 5 - should it be elsewhere?
