Sony 53" 8 months old "burn in" ?

I have a sony 53" rear projection that looks as though it has had some burn in caused by the on screen time quide. It's not very noticable unless I have a white screen. The burn looks to be a faint yellow color. I use the on screen guide to see what's on, and it usually not on for more than a few minutes. It's not that easy to see when watching regular TV, but I know it's there. I have my brightness and contast set low. Any advice is appreciated.

Also will the screenburn from the on screen program guide get worse if I continue to use it?
