Tosh 32zp18p auto Scart switching

Recently bought a load of new gear (Pioneer 2011 amp / Kef Eggs / Pioneer 656 DVD) and have connected the DVD to the Tosh TV via AV3 with a Sqart scart lead. However, I no longer get the auto switching to the AV input that I used to get with my old Tosh DVD player when it was in AV 1. Thus, if I switch on the DVD player, I have to manually tab through the AV inputs to get the DVD picture up. Anyone got any idea why this may have stopped. Could it be because I have my digibox permanently switched on????

Just a thought but try plugging it in AV1 and set the player to RGB. Generally when a TV receives a RGB signal it switches to that channel. I say generally as there are no hard and fast rules with things like this.

Thanks a lot for your reply - I've worked out the problem. The Sqart is directional and I had it the wrong way around. As it didn't have any arrows on it pointing me in the right orientation, only a visit to the QED website saved me from possible huge embarrassment at the hands of my dealer!
