My new KV32FX68 - it's a good 'un

Well - I took the plunge last week and ordered a KV32FX68 to replace my 4 yearold KV28FX60.

It arrived yesterday and looks to be a good one - spot-on geometry, no buzzing, no scrolling bars, no visible horizontal lines in bright scenes. Fantastic picture via RGB and a very nice looking set.

I'm chuffed to bits.

'tis a good looking set, one of the best looking from the Sony range IMO.

Was going to go for it originally but ended up with the Aventos in the end.

BTW - how much did it set you back?

£739 with a 5 year warranty from John Lewis (got them to price-match). Good price I thought.

Does sound like you've got yourself a pretty good deal.

I recall seeing it for £700 on the web, give or take a penny or two, but without the stand and only standard 1yr manufacturer's warranty.

The Aventos cost me £300 more.

Not at all - it was www.krishav.co.uk. They also have a shop so JL were happy to match them.

I've heard that I shouldn't use my Gamecube with a 100Hz TV - is that correct?

Not entirely sure that the above question is entirely pertinent to this thread, but anyway: I've used my Cube with my 32FX60 for ages (and a PSX and N64), and had no problems at all. Game on!!!!
