My dad needs a new 28" TV HELP PLEASE

Hi everyone
My dad needs a new TV he's looking for a 28" widescreen tv.32 won't fit in the space he has.
It has to have 100hz and 3 scarts would be very useful to have 2 rgb scarts on it.
Can anyone recommend some TV's please?? He's looking to pay around £700
Thanks for any advice i get.

Hi,

There are quite a lot of 28" tv's out there that I think your Dad would be happy with. Two sets I would have on my shortlist would be:

Panasonic Tx 28PS12
This tv has only recently been released, so it's a bit early to tell if there are any reliability issues with it yet, but early impressions are that it is a good set. It is 100hz, and has three scarts, two of which are RGB capable (according to the Panasonic brochere I have).

Sony KV28LS60
This Sony has been out for a while, but doesn't get mentioned much on this forum, which would indicate that it is reliable. It too has the 100hz you require, as well as three scarts (two RGB capable)

Both sets can be found on the internet for around £500.

Hope this helps,

Bob.
