Can Philips DNM be disabled?

Is there any way of doing this via the service menu?I suspect not but thought it was worth asking.Reason being,I'd like to see if my eyes can adjust to the flicker on double line mode as the picture is sharper than the 100hz I currently use(don't mention p+ it's well documented how useless it is!).But the DNM incorporated into that setting makes movement un-natural,as if it's electronically sped up like some early morning American programme's do.I should mention I'm using a 32pw9527.

well I can't help, but I can empathise and would have been curious to know the answer. I have the 36pw9527 and have stopped using p+ as well, the problem being that you obviously expect that kind of definition in 100hz mode as well. I posted on this the other day 'Settings for a Philips 36" p+'. What settings do you find best for watching DVDs?
