Laptop to CRT TV via yellow rca

Hi will a vga cable with rca connector between my tv onn 28" crt flat work, No s-VGA on laptop. if i plug vga in laptop and the rca into yellow rca on tv will this work I relize I might have to change resolution on laptop.

Not sure what you mean by S-VGA, but I don't think this will work. If you had a VGA on your TV, this would be ideal. Otherwise, laptops usually have S-Video outputs, which will connect to almost any TV. If yours doesn't, you could try a VGA (+sound) to SCART adapter, though I'm not quite sure the best place to get one of these, nor how expensive they are. Anyway, hope this helps a bit.

I think not. Unless your computer has a TV-out on it. TV video signals vs. PC monitor (VGA) signals are not compatible.

A TV needs an interlaced resolution which the laptop can not supply (easily) as it will only produce progressive resolutions.

That definitely won't work is for connecting a scart output to a VGA input. The OP wants to connect a vga output to a input on his tv.
