I'm looking to replace two old very heavy 28" CRT widescreen TVs with new LCD TVs. What is the best and most hassle-free way of getting rid of old CRT TVs?

Trade it or your local supermarket/newsagents window if you want to sell it.

Freecycle if you just want rid of them (or maybe try some local charities - not shops, but youth centres ec.)

I posted mine as free to anyone who could come and pick it up , a very grateful student showed up two days later.

He was happy , as was I , and so was the wife who had grown to hate it taking up space in the guest room.
