Using UK TV in Oz

Might be somebody who can help with this. Will my Toshiba 55PJ6DB (rear pro) work in Australia. At the very least I will take it (emigrating) and use it as I do now as the heart of my home cinama for watching DVD/video but trying to find out if I will be able to receive and watch australian TV channels (aerial) or digital channels. thanks

The onboard tuner won't work. Otherwise, the set will work to reproduce the signal from external devices - DVD, locally bought VCR, set top box, etc., provided these are connected up using an AV connection (Scart, SVideo, etc).

The best/cheapest way of using it to watch local broadcasts is to buy, locally, a cheap VCR and use it as a tuner.
