Help Needed!

Wonder if anyone can help?

My Tosh 36ZD26P suffers greatly from flaring around any movement over a dark background which I find unacceptable when viewing.

I've had 2 engineer visits and both have resulted in the "it's within spec" line! As such, the dealer, Empire Direct, are saying that they are unable to help.

Can anyone please give me any advice on where I can go from here?

Any comments much appreciated.

Thanks

How old is the TV? I'd guess you're now past the 7 day cancellation of contract stage? If you paid by credit card, your company may be able to assist you. If you reported the problem within seven days initially that may help. As a last resort you may wish to get in touch with Toshiba Information Systems. They do not have any obligation to help you but I found them useful in persuading a retailer to take back a poor Toshiba after an engineer said it's "within spec". I constantly get frustrated with that line... where does it say the spec that the TV is quality controlled to? The information is never available at the time of purchase! If I can ever be bothered and have time on my hands I may attempt to pursue that point.

Anyway good luck
