Mofoman's Sony super fine pitch wega HD CRT tv

I've got a few q's:
Can a BD player be connected to this tv and is the picture really 1080p (with comparable 1080p detail to LCD's, or is it only 800 lines kind of resolution?)

Can you have SkyHD on it and is it proper 1080i with sharp picture detail from up close?

When a european satellite sports channel broadcasts in 720p, I assume the Sony easily does 720p and the picture is fantastic?
