Can the geometry of a CRT be affected by a knock. I say a knock but I gave my Loewe a 1" or so drop to see if I could cure what might have been a dry joint fault.
In fact the problem was a power chip (or so I'm told) and I am happy to say that she is back in use.
Unfortunately one of the menu boxes I have just used which appears 4" within all the borders shows poor vertical lines - worse than they were (I think).
Could I have caused that and can I correct it using the service menu (if I can find the notes telling me haow to do it).
What is a good way to get a static box to do the geomety adjustment. I seem to remember I used the THX box in "Toy Story" before.
Any ideas please.
