Toshiba 36ZP18P white highlights excessive

Hello All,
New to this site but liking it so far!
Been wading through this forum but have not found a match for this problem. The colours etc are all fine. When a scene with lots of white is on then this white becomes very bright and washed out, again it's just the white content of display.Does this for all inputs.
Any pointers?

the digital module mdfs03 is the most likely culprit in this chassis. from wiltsgrove their around ninety pounds to buy. however if you take the trouble to write a nice letter to toshiba they may send you one free of charge. good luck

I wouldn't say the module is responsible for those symptoms, the tuner is a known culprit for bleached/silvery looking highlights but we can rule that out as it doesn't do it on scart inputs.
Contrast up too high or poss duff crt could be the reason.
