Tosh from Unbeatable?

Has anyone bought a Tosh TV from unbeatable.co.uk??

If so did it come from unbeatable or from toshiba direct like many other places.

The reason i ask is that i have returned so many TVs to unbeatable that i am scared they will come out and skin me if i get another dodgy one.

I'll tell you this, say what you like about unbeatable.co.uk but i have never had such a level of customer service. They have swapped my TVs without hesitation, even when i thought they would kill me. Thats 4 TVs by the way.

Just got a new jvc 28" for the bedroom. It has dark RGB and i was wondering if i should go for the tosh 28zd26 or an ls60. If tosh comes direct - i could be tempted.

Where do all these returned TVs go. Surely they are recirculated as I doubt Toshiba or any manufacture will discard them. If they are sent back to the factory to be checked, I doubt the staff there will be bothered about carefully fixing it knowing that it is relatively new. Either way if you dont accept the TV someone else eventually has to. Likewise, you are just as likely to end up with someone elses returned TV.

Can anyone confirm what actually happens.

I can also say how good Unbeatable are, we just returned a buzzing FX66 from before Christmas, for a full refund!!

Top Service, can recommend them to anyone, and will be buying
a new FQ70 from them when it's released.. (hopefully with no buzz!!)

I ordered the Tosh 42PW23p RPTV from unbeatable.co.uk about 10 days ago and its being delivered on Tuesday !

Given the issues raised here about the high chance of having to have the TV adjusted or replaced I was worried about having chosen a web retailer over C***t or C***Y's (excuse the language ) ... the above posts have put my mind at rest.

The distribution company that called me to arrange delivery is Ramage Distribution (although order confirmation said City Link).

I'll let you know on Tuesday whether it appears to have come from Tosh direct ... as well as posting the new Tosh RPTV owner 'standard' questions like:

- how do I find the service menu again?
- is 0.005mm off sqaure acceptable for geometry?
- should I have bought a Sony?

etc etc

My 42PW23p came today ... it did come direct from Toshiba ... it was thier delivery note with just a line of text about invoicing Capital Sound and Vision (must be unbeatable.co.uk's real name).

I was expecting a geometry nightmare but it looks fine .. no immediate adjustments required .. quick check of convergence etc.

Only problem I have is that the other half came in from work and is **really** instistant that the set is "too big" ... "causing nausia and headaches" apparantly

Still, its here and I'm not letting go !! ... thank you Toshiba

Let me know if there's any questions.

Mark
