Jvc AV28T5S Problem

I have just purchased this tv, the problem is the picture goes out of focus then clicks to a sharper picture, I have checked all Ext, i know it is the tv, should it do this or is the set

Does the focus problem also affect the on-screen menu's? If so it's probably a faulty LOPT (line output transformer) or (worst case scenario) CRT.
The LOPT usually has a focus adjustment on it, this migh be the culprit. Either way it's only fixable by a qualified engineer, the cost of which depends on the availability of spare parts for this model.

Yes it does it on the on screen menu, knackered tv after 3 days

Engineer ringing me on Monday to arrange visit, been told it will be replaced if engineer acknowledges problem.
Will the tv picture get worse or stay as it is, it is watchable but annoying
