i own a one year old Thompson CRT 28inch widescreen tv. not the dolby model as i had a 32 inch one of them quiet recently but sold it (how stupid can yu get for £120 ) great picture and be unhappy to part with it.. I gather that Thompson are not produceing tvs of any sort anymore.. But i will replaced it by a 42 LCD in the main room but i still intend to keep it in another room as its almost worthless now.. Thompson is one of those manufactures thats lost out in the LCD and Plasma war.. So we will never see the Ferguson brand again. Dixons/currys/PC world have stopped selling them (CRTs) ?? ASDA and TESCOS i believe still sell CRT s Becko range and other weird far east names are still being made and sold. For how long who knows...

Ive been tracking these 2 Thomson 32" CRT for over a year now but never have any stock near me, they MUST have some somewhere though.... both got good ratings. Im using a Black 28" Thomson Widescreen for the last 6 years.

The Dixons/Currys group bought the rights to use the brand name "Ferguson" from Thomson and use the brand on a lot of cheap imported junk so you will see it...in fact there are Ferguson branded Freeview boxes and other brown goods available on the high st.
