Tosh 32ZP48p Geometry Problem

Hi Everybody,

Sorry for yet another 32ZP48 Post. This in not a DFS module problem but rather a geometry problem on analouge picture signal only, the black bar at the top of the screen in widescreen format in not uniform or straight and slants upwards from left to right giving the screen/picture a crooked effect, pic is fine on digital signal.

Anyone got a working solution for this, consulted the manual and it says something about the earth's magnetic field causing a problem but does not offer a fix anyone else experienced this prob and got a workaround, any help greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

On the 36's there's an in-built correction for this symptom. Not on the 32's though.

The 'fault' can be cured. A job for a proper engineer though.

interesting, my 32ZD26 has a similar issue but it IS the earths magnectic force because the slant varies when i rotate the actual TV and fortunatly where it lives, its not too bad. What is this fix for it? Im curious, I thought is was just one of those things?
