36zp48 progscan problem

I have a toshiba 36zp48 crt.When my xbox 360 is connected via component leads I get an intermittant flashing/flickering screen (bottom left corner).It only does this if the 360 is set to progscan or if the 360 is set to sdtv and I switch the television manually to progscan.Has any one else had this problem.I am not talking about refresh rates by the way.Thankyou

it may not be a fault with the tv at all cos always getting issuse with these consoles all types and crt sort of sets ...new and old technology dont mix that well..

I agree, the manual of my Panasonic DMR-EH50 DVD Recorder recommends against prog-scan on PAL CRTs.
