Insurance replacement for CRT ??

Hi,
i had a Toshiba 3339DB CRT the monster set with DPL, 5 speakers, sub woofer, award winner £1500 when new 10 years old but still a faultless set with a great picture. A few months ago it was flood damaged and insurance agreed to replace it (with one of their choice) a 32" LG LCD 32LC46C as it was the closest match they could find plus a £120 dixons voucher as there was no DPL surround . i did some research and politely told them no thank you, for the following reasons:
(1). My CRT although says 33" is actually a 32" but its a 4:3 which has a 11% bigger screen than a 32" 16:9 LCD http://www.screenmath.com/ has the info
(2) I would like a Toshiba 37" C3030D to replace my Toshiba (it fits into custom made cabinet)and as i am gaining a small increase in size forget the voucher £120
Called them back thinking i had compromised they said "NO! thats an upgrade" you can keep the £120 vou........NO! ITS UPGRADE. If i wanted a cash settlement £460. So complaints dept, letters and now i am at the ombudsman.
Question for you guys is what do you think should be the replacement?

Thanks to all on this forum
