replacement TX32PB50

Just thought I might pass this onto you guys

I had my Original TX32pb50 changed on Saturday after rejecting one DOA replacement.
I must admit I’m impressed, the picture is vastly superior to my one-year-old set.
I have no dirty screen effect and the tizzing problem I had with the old unit which meant that watching TV any closer than four feet or so was impossible because the picture looked terrible .
Even terrestrial broadcast is much better

I wonder if Panny have ironed out some early problems in the production of this set ?

MY A\V RIG
Panasonic TX32PB50 ,Marantz SR5200 ,Toshiba 210ED ,Amstrad DRX300
Mission M72 ,Mission M7C ,Mission M7ds ,Eltax Atomic A10 Sub
AIWA VCR ,Gale SPKR cables ,IXOS Scart

What's the picture like for DVD's thru RGB scart on this set?

I was going to buy a Sony, is the Panny better in your opinion?

DVD playback via RGB scart is fantastic and has to be one of the best , AOTC for example with it's digital capture at the source is very sharp and clear ,even up close !

I've got two friends who both have/had sony's , one blew up and the other show's intermittent white lines across the screen (guess which one this is)

But to be fair I couldn't compare like for like as I've not looked at any of the Sony models for any great length of time .

From what I've been told the Panasonic has the best edge definition(even better that Philips)
