Loewe Artcios & Denon DVD-3800

Loewe Artcios & Denon DVD-3800

I presently have a Loewe Articos with the additional VGA module. I also have on order a Denon DVD-3800. I was also thinking of getting the I-scan Pro to plug in between these (DVD component out to Iscan and then VGA out into Loewe). However the Denon DVD-3800 has the same progressive scan chip as the Iscan. Could I do with just purchasing a component-vga convertor that will do the job of the Iscan. (Cheaper soulution?)

You could indeed do this. While the Iscan would be alot more flexible in it's scaling abilitiesand range of inputs, there is little point in splashing out that kind of money to solely make use of the Loewe VGA (HD15 Gordon ) option.

I presume you are aware of the aspect ratio problems when watching DVD's via this connection method on the loewe. For more information see the following thread:
