test tv channel

apologies if this has been mentioned before but what channels do you think make good test screens for setting up your contrast \ brightness \ colour etc etc??? and why.

Channel must be on NTL digital.

Previously I have used qvc for all the text and colours on the screen (honest guv! i was not really watching the beauty hour...)
