Tosh 36ZT9b switches to Standby mode with Analogue aerial connected

Hi,

Further to my post from last week about my Tosh failing, I have discovered the following...

If I do not have the aerial connected, the TV works fine. All other inputs in use, EXT1, 2, 3 and Component input on EXT4...

With the aerial plugged in, the TV displays the selected channel with Mono sound.. after approx 30 secs, this is then updated to 'Stereo', following another 30 secs, the TV automatically enters standby mode.

I have a NTL analogue feed, which is plugged into a Sky Digibox, then to the TV..

(I don't use the NTL decoder, I use this feed for terestrial channels only).
Regards,
Dom

Sounds like a dodgy aerial.

Have you tried using a portable cheapo top-of-tv aerials to see if the same thing happens??
