Question Rules on price matching

If I was to buy a TV form John Lewis, how does the price matching work with regards that JL sells their TVs with free 5 years warrenty?

Do I have to find another place selling the same TV with 5 years warrenty? Or will they match the price to a TV with only a 1 year warrenty?

Also the same question, but this using the Barclaycard Price Promise.

I had planned to to buy a TV, on Barclaycard, from either Currys, Comet or PowerHouse and then use the Barclaycard Price Promise so i'd get the TV at internet prices and then use the Barclaycard extra year warrenty.

It seems like the forum likes dealing with JL (must admit I'm not keen on currys or comet). But if I brought a TV from JL then the free 5 year warrenty may stop me claiming on those cheap internet prices.
