Unhappy Was going to get a Thomson..........but not now!!

Well i was going to purchase a lovely 28" WideScreen Thomson, 100hz TV, but after reading these topics on the forum its seems like it suffers from a few problems

So with a £600 ish pound budget, what do i get? It must be 28" widescreen, silver in colour, decent picture, sound not important at not used and 100hz.

My current widescreen TV is knackered, so i need a TV quickly

Hi mate

I as you probably know am suffering with the Thomson 32inch 100hz set.
This set does seemed cursed as thepange also went through 3 or 4 sets before calling it a day and going for a Sony 28LS60 a set that he seems really happy with.

I never thought buying a tv could be so difficult but as one user on the forums states , are we all getting a little bit fussy with the sets and expecting too much out of them?

The comet engineer who visted me said I was being too picky but I cannot accept paying £700 and recieving what I feel is a sub standard pic.
If all large screen tvs are plague like this then ill pay £00 or so and get a cheapo matsui etc.

I look forward to see what people recommend to you in this thread.

Good luck

I started off with a 32" Thomson but it suffered colour staining as did a replacement. Pity, it was a good set...

My current set is an 32LS60 and it's fab. Looks and sounds superb. It'd be the one I recomend.
